ATE Solutions Welcomes Pablo Espinosa as Engineering Manager
We’re excited to welcome Pablo Espinosa as our new Engineering Manager at ATE Solutions! Pablo brings over 20 years of experience in test development, automation, and engineering leadership, with an impressive career spanning both Mexico and the UK. He’s joining us at a pivotal time as we continue to grow, not just by expanding organically but also through acquisitions.
In his role, Pablo will lead our talented team of 12 engineers, including Applications Engineers and Design/Manufacturing Engineers, as we continue to innovate and push into new sectors. His focus will be on maintaining the high standards we’re known for, developing new technologies, and supporting our growing list of customers.
A Career Driven by Innovation
Pablo’s career journey started in Mexico, where he completed his Bachelor’s in Electronics and Digital Systems at Universidad Panamericana. He kicked off his career at Texas Instruments as an Automation Engineer, where he quickly stood out, earning awards like the Texas Instruments Creativity Award and the Technical Contribution Award.
In 2003, he moved to the UK to study for a Master’s in Control Systems at Imperial College London. After graduating, Pablo returned to Mexico to work at Flex, one of the world’s largest contract equipment manufacturers. Over his 13 years at Flex, Pablo rose to become Design Test Engineering Manager, leading major projects that included developing and integrating automated testing systems, managing large-scale technology transfers, and working with a global customer base.
Pablo’s passion for automation and robotics led him to Bright Machines in 2017, where he oversaw the integration of automated test systems with robotic assembly lines. His work there played a huge role in deploying robotics and automation solutions for the company’s clients.
In 2022, Pablo returned to the UK to take on the role of Lead Test Development Engineer at Dyson. At Dyson, he worked on test development strategies for new product categories and helped successfully transfer test protocols to Southeast Asia.
Now, as Engineering Manager at ATE Solutions, Pablo is ready to build on that experience and help us take things to the next level.
